I came across this web sit3 while just searching for info on felting as I saw this at a recent craft show and had never heard of it before. I went ahead and ordered the Tomken kit and took the on line zoom class. What fun! Ana is a great teacher and her info on wool was as enlightenjng as well the felting process. This was fairly easy to do and the outcome was terrific
This was my first time needle felting and first time purchasing a kit. The design is adorable, so I couldn't resist! The kit came fully stocked with what was needed to complete the the project, and the instructions were detailed and very easy to follow. I'm looking forward to my next project, the Goldfinch.
I found a new craft that I love! I’ve worked with felt a lot but felting is an art. The online FREE class was outstanding!! It was all I needed to get started, Ana is a terrific teacher and a wealth of knowledge my first of many tomtens. I’m already filling my cart!

This was my first felting project! I enjoyed the zoom class and the kit I purchased provided everything I needed to make 2 brother Tomtens. The instructions were very easy to follow. After doing my first gnome during the zoom, I was able to make a brother tomten as well. I will give them to my toddler grandsons for Christmas.
A great kit with all the necessary pieces included as well as adequate quantity of wool for the beginner to play with. Since this was associated with a zoom class it was an easy project for a beginner to accomplish is a timely manner. I have ordered several other project kits an will continue to improve my skill.
Lots of wool but di not receive any mohair and wished I had. Replay was wonderful and worked for me. Love the end result. Thank you.

I returned the felt squares and had to pay $10.00 for shipping the felt squares back to you. there was no book, no patterns, no birds, just felt squares which I spent $40 for. Very disappointed.
HI Nancy - the order you placed was for just the bundle. There are 3 ways to order: 1) Just the book 2) The book with the felt bundle and 3) just the felt bundle. You may have meant to place an order for both the book and felt bundle, but the selection you made was for just the felt bundle. I wish you had emailed us directly. This wool is great to work with and was perfect for my holiday project. Should have got more ;-) Will definitely be making another order. Purchased the white, scarlet and Hunter green. All beautiful colors!
I prefer 2D felting and this kit is absolutely beautiful and a good project for beginners. As someone new to felting, the "color with wool" projects are a great way to get the feel for how felting works. And this one was drawing me in as my state bird. :) Highly recommend to beginners looking for a project to start out on.
These colors are perfect for my landscaping project. Soft to the touch, lovely quality. Loved my first set so much, I ordered a couple more to have on hand. Can't wait to put them to good use.

The quality and texture of this wool is very nice. It seems to felt up more easily than some other wool I've purchased for needle felting. The only reason I would deduct a half star is because the color wasn't quite what I was hoping for. It has much more of a brown hue, more like a brick red to me. Though I know that it's very hard to describe colors, and that they appear different on every screen, with different lighting, etc., I was hoping for more of a cranberry color than it actually is. I've already found another use for it though, and it is very nice wool.
This is such a cute kit. I bought one as a gift as well as one for myself! Why not have something so cute to hold needles!

Nice design! It’s fun to create something by hand. Simple design that is still functional but with room for your own originality. Haven’t quite finished yet, (border) … plan to create a multi color blanket stitch trim!
