❄️ Make Your Own Tomtens ❄️ (Scandinavian Gnomes!)
Free Live Classes • Optional Felting Kit • Beginner-Friendly
Join us for a fun, free online needle-felting class where we’ll make classic Scandinavian Tomtens — cozy winter gnomes with wool hats, big noses, and plenty of charm. There are 5 class dates to choose from.
Whether you’re brand new to needle felting or already love wool crafts, you’ll learn simple techniques to build smooth shapes, sculpt details, and finish an adorable Tomten you’ll want to display all winter.
These classes are completely free. Replays will be available.
You can create your Tomtens with wool you already have, or you can pick up the Tomten Felting Kit after you register for the class, which includes everything needed for the project.
All are welcome — even if you’ve never needle felted before.
✔ There are 5 Free live online classes - choose the best date for you.
Once you register, you will get links to join the classes. During class, we’ll walk through each step together — building the body, shaping the hat, adding the beard or braids, and finishing your Tomten.
✔ No experience needed
I’ll show you how to get smooth shapes, firm structure, and seamless hats using simple, beginner-friendly techniques.
✔ Use your own wool and felting supplies, or pick up the Tomten kit from us
A full Tomten Felting Kit is available if you want the exact wool, prefelt hat template, mohair curls, nose materials, and dowel we’ll be using.
Or feel free to DIY with your own supplies. An overview of the supplies needed will be emailed after registration.
