HOW TO FELT
Needle felting is simple. You take the wool and use the included needle to attach it to the fabric, building up your design one layer at a time.

Is this a good project for beginners?
Yes. We have taught over 3000 people how to felt and have created projects where the printed design gives you a clear guide. You just take the colored wool, lay it in a section of the design and use the barbed felting needle to stab it into place and smooth it into a finished texture. That's it!
What kind of wool is used?
We use carded wool, which felts more easily and evenly, especially for flat needle felting projects like these designs.
Carded wool is processed to create a soft, fluffy texture that blends smoothly as you felt. This makes it easier to control and helps you get a clean, consistent finish.
Most wool labeled as “roving” has been further combed and smoothed. While that’s great for spinning and creating yarn, we’ve found that carded wool works better for this type of felting.
Yarn itself will not work in our projects.
Where do you ship from?
We ship orders from Minnesota. Orders are usually shipped within 2-3 business days of being placed.
