Everything you need to needle felt three wool pumpkins, about 3 x 2.5 inches each. You'll shape the core wool into a ball, wrap it in color, then add the ridges and a stem. No sewing, no pattern to trace.

A pumpkin is a ball of wool with a few grooves and a stem. The needle does the work.
Shape the core
Roll the core wool into a ball and poke it with a felting needle until it's firm.
Wrap it in color
Lay the colored wool over the ball and felt it into place.
Add ridges & a stem
Needle in the grooves that make it a pumpkin, then add the stem. Make two more.

Size & what to make
- Finished pumpkins are about 3 x 2.5 inches each; plan on 4-5 hours for all three
- Set them on a table, mantel or shelf for fall color that lasts year after year
- Add them to a bowl with a few drops of essential oil for felted potpourri
- String them into a garland with felted leaves (you'll want strong thread, embroidery floss or fishing line and a sewing needle)

Yes - you need a foam or wool felting surface under your work, 5x7 inches or larger. Choose Kit with Felting Mat and a 5x7 inch foam mat comes with it. If you already have a mat, choose Just the Kit.
Yes. The kit includes the full replay of our live pumpkin class, along with printed step-by-step instructions.
No sewing at all. The barbed needle tangles the wool fibers together so you can sculpt shapes and add details. If you string your pumpkins into a garland you'll want a sewing needle and strong thread for that part.
Needle felting is very forgiving. You can reshape the wool, add more fiber and adjust as you go.

A note on crafting safely
